House Rules
A member in good standing, is one who has paid their dues and one who has given of their time toward a Club committee function (a minimum of 20 volunteer hours in the first year). Additionally, there are a few rules to live by:
Conduct
- Profanity, threats, fighting, theft, or damage of Club property will not be tolerated and can lead to administrative action by the Executive Board for termination of membership.
- Exercise respect for diversity in race, religion and politics. Keep your bar talk cordial – think sports.
- We are apolitical and do not accept solicitations or make endorsements of political candidates.
House
- Do not borrow or remove Club property, without express permission of the House Chairman.
- Police your table before leaving – there is no wait staff.
Bar
- Do not enter behind the Bar, without permission of the Bartender.
- The Bartender is responsible for decorum and will have the last word on media selection and volume.
- The Bartender can refuse entry to the Club for non-members.
- The Bartender must refuse service to anyone believed to be intoxicated.
- The Bar is closed during the general membership meeting.
Guests
- Must be signed in by an accompanying member.
- This is a private club, do not wear out your welcome – should you like to come often, consider membership.
